On the other hand, fully functional hobby-grade cars offer a tantalizing array of features. They feature virtually every detail of a real car and are fully functional, serviceable and upgradeable RC cars but their cost and maintenance are very high.

Giving up? No, not yet! There are a few RC cars that occupy a middle ground between expensive, feature rich hobby grade cars and unserviceable, cheap electric RC cars.

For children and beginners, the toy-grade or mid-grade cars are a good choice. Whereas, for racers who want to be economical even with their large RC cars, the hobby-grade Electric RC cars are better than Nitro RC cars.
