Mini T RC Car

Mini T RC Car, or the 'Team Losi Mini-T RC Truck', is perhaps the most acclaimed Radio Controlled car in the world. It essentially is a miniature version of Team Losi's largely popular Triple-XT I RC car. The ready-to-run, 1/18-scale 'Team Losi Mini-T RC Truck' shares many features with its 1/10-scale counterpart.

This mini T RC car has successfully integrated the full suspension racing car type design with an off-road dirt racing type design. Team Losi initially implemented the suspension with friction type shock absorbers but later more sophisticated and stunningly superior oil filled shocks were used.

This mini T RC car has a good looking plastic Fury Stadium truck body with cool graphics and is available in three colors.

Its battery pack has 4 AA alkaline cells which gave an unbelievable run time of some 45 minutes, compared to 10 minutes for 1/10 scale model. The 4 AA cells allow th car to reach up to 23 kmph in speed. This can be improved greatly by using 6 Ni-Cd cells battery pack. The 6 cell pack gives a top notch speed of more than 30 kmph but unfortunately reduces the run time.

It has a wonderful full sized radio transmitter, called the Novak XXL receiver, to control the Electronic Speed Control and Servo steering unit. It operates on 27MHz frequency with full proportional control, adjustable steering control, and reverse motion. It can be used to race more than one Mini T RC car at a time.

The disc wheels take semi-pneumatic soft rubber race tires with a variety of treads on them for smooth skid-less racing on any type of surface, be it indoor, outdoor, race track or off-road. There are some enthusiasts who even converted it into a mini dune buggy! This mini T RC car has a 3 gear drive with a maintenance free gear differential instead of a ball-type differential.

Lunsford's lightweight Lexan plastic body, gear covers and other parts, replaces the stock heavy plastic parts with a light weight body.
