Electric RC Cars

Nitro RC Racing Cars

As the conventional knowledge goes, any Nitro RC car that can be raced is a Nitro RC Racing Car. Think I am right? There are quite a few kinds of Nitro cars and trucks like Nitro RC Zs and Ts, Nitro SUVs, Nitro Hummers, Nitro Buggies, Nitro Off-Road Trucks, Nitro Mini RC Cars, Nitro F1 type Racers, Nitro RC Tour Cars etc.

Think I am wrong? Right! Only Touring Nitro RC cars, Formula one type Nitro RC cars and Off-Road Nitro Buggies are real racers. The former two have a small rear wing for increased grip to the ground while racing. They all have, most of the time, four wheel drives like their real counterparts.

Like the real race cars, racing these Nitro RC Racing Cars is fun and excitement. You may need special equipment for Nitro RC Racing Cars, just like their real counterparts.

Racing car's tires need particular attention. You can use automatic tire gluer for correct alignment and automatic tire tuner for tuning tire surface. Racing cars may need a few more sets of spare tires for races. This is truer for Nitro RC race cars because they run longer than the electric RC cars.

There are races for two wheel drive and four wheel drive trucks and buggies, touring cars, Can-Am bodied cars. But there are classes of races for each Nitro RC car type and certain classes can't be mixed. As there are many Nitro RC races, race cars and racers, there are also some governing bodies involved, like ROAR (Radio Operated Auto Racing) and IFMAR (International Federation of Model Auto Racing).

Today's Nitro RC Race Cars, with smooth rubber race tires to aid the grip, oil filled shock absorbers for smooth ride and less wear and tear to internal parts, very realistic modelling, and powerful Nitro engines, specially formulated high energy fuels, driven mostly on ball bearings, can zip past 100 kmph or even 120 kmph with suitable modifications.

With Large 1/8 and 1/10 scale Nitro RC Racing Cars getting increasingly popular and with availability of sophisticated Nitro Supercharger two stroke engines and four stroke engines the excitement and fun are bound to further increase.

If you are already experienced and have a few more bucks to spare, the Nitro RC Racing Cars are certainly worth giving a try.
