Nitro RC Street Cars
Nitro RC street cars are what you can identify as powerful touring type Nitro RC cars. They are modelled after real life fast moving or rather racing street cars like BMWs, Toyotas, Mustangs, Chevy's etc. Remember those amazing cars in the hit movie "Fast and Furious". It is 'Toyota Supra' or some thing, I don't know, but surely such movies spur the hidden passions of racing in audience. Alas! Racing on streets is a crime. Of course you can race at some 300 kmph on express ways and super highways. But there is nobody along with you to race around. Well, it's possible only in the movies. You don't want, of course, to get knocked off on the road by someone's car racing at 300 kmph before you knock off some one else! It's such desires, that give birth to the Nitro RC Street Cars ruling the roads. These cars are available either in 1/ 10 scale or 1/8 scale cars with gas / nitro RC engines, high power outputs and two speed transmissions. Also, the sticky soft rubber race tires, rear wing for extra thrust towards ground, four wheel drives give them additional punch. While the 1/10 scale Nitro RC Street cars typically output around 2 HP and attain blazing speeds of 100 kmph, the 1/ 8 scale Nitro RC Street cars - the largest, toughest, meanest and costliest of the bunch - can output some 3 HP and clock astonishing speeds of 120 kmph. Even those crazy speeds in the order of 100 kmph can be attained in 3 seconds flat by the 1/8s! All these can happen on roads and not necessarily on a Race track! Their raw power may appear brutal with its scorching speeds, given their midget forms. There are obvious dangers involved with them, if you race on streets with cars and living things. Please select only deserted streets, house yards, empty parking lots and similar and only race with due caution. You can choose any one like 1/10 scale Ferrari Modena, HPI Dash RTR, OFNA OB4 Nitro RC Car or surf the RC websites for guidance.
