The RC Mini Monster Truck

The RC mini monster truck has become very popular on the market due to it size and options available. The RC mini monster truck size is offered as 1/18 scale, 1/20 scale, 1/24 scale or even as small as 1/28 scale.

RC mini monster trucks are electric and use 4AA batteries. Many of them are four wheel drive with fully proportioned steering. The remote control operates on 6-8AA batteries.

RC mini monster trucks are considered more of a toy-grade RC mini monster truck rather than a hobby-grade RC monster truck. I'm sure in the years to come we will see hobby-grade RC mini monster trucks and they will enter the racing scene. Right now they offer hours of fun indoors or in a backyard with friends. One thing they offer that standard RC monster trucks can't is the ability to take them almost anywhere, because they can fit in your pocket.

RC mini monster trucks are offered by a number of the leading RC monster truck makers. Team Losi offers a 1/18 scale RC mini monster truck called the Losi Mini-T which comes with rubber wheels and is modeled after the Losi XXX-T model.

Kyosho offers a 1/28 scale RC mini monster truck called the Kyosho mini-Z which has some fine detailing internally including four coil shock absorbers and a three gear transmission.

Tamiya, a RC manufacturer out of Japan, offers the 1/18 scale model TLT-1. The TLT-1 is offered as a semi-kit package and the motor must be purchase separately. The RC mini monster truck is four wheel drive and is designed to climb over large objects.

No matter if you are already part of the RC monster truck culture or are new to the RC monster truck hobby. A RC mini monster truck has a lot to offer and is usually a little less expensive than the larger RC monster trucks. Buying multiple RC mini monster trucks will give you the opportunity to have a lot of fun when your friends visit.
